Bringing you a curated list of the most relevant social science on antimicrobial use in society today.
Social science has much to offer in addressing AMR. However, sometimes the relevant research is hard to locate and find in one place, and sometimes, if you are not already familiar with the terminology used in anthropology (the study of people in past and present society), the literature can be a bit difficult to decipher. In this section, we have done the hard work for you. We present summaries of, and links to, relevant books and journal articles, for what we consider to be essential reading on the topic of antimicrobials in society. You can read about how these link together in bodies of work through our ‘Themes’ section. If you have questions or suggestions, please contact us.
